bio

I'm a software engineer and designer. I live in Seattle with my two boys, Rocky (woof!) and Anthony.

education

I graduated from Columbia University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, concentrating in Artificial Intelligence. Coursework includes data structures, computer science theory, computer vision, artificial intelligence, biometrics, computer graphics, natural language processing, machine learning, computers & society, and databases.

research

My undergraduate research was in privacy and usable security with Maritza Johnson and Professor Steven Bellovin. I studied the privacy intentions of Facebook users to some interesting results! My work was featured in Privacy Papers for Policy Makers and is available here.

skills

I've worked in a variety of web technologies, including Python, C, Java, CSS3, Javascript, HTML5, Javascript, PHP. I favor front-end engineering but enjoy back-end engineering and have a solid foundation in data structures and algorithm analysis.
I enjoy design and prototyping.

Anthony + I

work

I've previously worked as Software Engineer at The Boeing Company in Structural Analysis Computing, developing and deploying C and Java software on UNIX, Windows, HPC clusters. I also worked on developing a Django/python powered engineering collaboration web app.
I worked as an intern and Interactive New Media Specialist at SPIN magazine. Before that, I interned at Universal Music in the A&R and New Media department, developing Facebook apps.

hobbies

Cooking, baking, eating.
